Dear ECSA Recognised Voluntary Association,
The Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) invites you and your members registered with the Council to attend a dedicated stakeholder engagement session following communication regarding billing discrepancies experienced during the 2025/26 financial cycle, as well as inconsistencies identified in the debt recovery process.
This session aims to provide clarity on the billing and handover processes, outline the corrective actions currently underway, and respond directly to stakeholder queries.

- Clarify the billing process and address common discrepancies
- Explain payment allocation and account reconciliation procedures
- Provide insight into the handover process involving our third-party service provider
- Respond to questions from Registered Persons

Following the initial recruitment process, kindly note the position of the Chief Executive Officer is being re-advertised.
The successful incumbent will serve as the Accounting Officer of ECSA and reporting to the Governing Council. The role entails developing and implementing the approved organisational strategy through annual performance plans, overseeing the day-to-day management and compliance of ECSA’s resources, ensuring organisational stability in delivering on ECSA’s mandate, and serving as the chief spokesperson of the organisation.
Key performance areas and responsibilities aligned to the job are enlisted in the attached advert.
