Frigaire 2022

There was great excitement as thousands of industry stakeholders got together at last year’s FRIGAIR expo, which took place at the Gallagher Convention Centre from 1-3 June. To have the face-to-face interaction again was appreciated by all as this connection between buyers and sellers has been missed for so long! The show had been postponed by a year due to the Covid-19 hiatus and the HERVAC industry was eagerly anticipating the event!

100+ exhibitors pulled out all the stops to deliver a world-class show. Visitors were introduced to the many new products launched at the show and could watch live demonstrations on many of the exhibitors stands. It was an eye-opener to see what’s new and happening in the industry. Visitors gained new knowledge around the technology, designs and methodology that’s been developed by the HERVAC sectors over the past four years since the last FRIGAIR event.

Now our attention turns to FRIGAIR 2025.

It’s hot. It’s cool. It’s FRIGAIR 2025.

FRIGAIR showcases the crucial role played by the Heating, Energy, Refrigeration, Ventilation and Air Conditioning – HERVAC – industry in the rapid development of eco-friendly energy efficiency and sustainable technologies for the future.

A lot of progress in techniques and technology has occurred over recent years, driven primarily by solutions to aspects related to indoor air quality as well as efficiency, and the heightened drive in the struggle to mitigate global warming and its effects – where the HERVAC sector plays a significant role in terms of energy and refrigerants. Progress in technology and solutions will continue over the next three years and FRIGAIR 2025 will be ideally positioned to showcase these developments.

Owned by and one of the South African Institute for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning’s (SAIRAC) premier events, FRIGAIR has been the largest dedicated HERVAC trade exhibition in Africa since 1980.
