The building energy audit training consists of two elements:

1. The Building Energy Audit Training Course aims to develop the skills and knowledge required of individuals that conduct energy audits in government and
   other commercial buildings.
2. The Supervising Engineer's Course aims to develop the skills and knowledge required of engineers who will manage and monitor the audit programme.

• Maintenance personnel
• Property owners

Industrial Energy Management Training (IEMT) Course

The Industrial Energy Management Training course is presented by the Energy Training Foundation (ETF). This four-day skills development programme offers a very practical and hands-on treatment of the management aspects of energy management. In addition to developing an understanding of the issues, it is intended to begin the actual planning process of energy management of industrial clients.

SAIRAC hosted the first Frigair international conference in Pretoria in 1980.  The first four Frigair conferences were hosted in conjunction with the CSIR and since 1992, have been hosted by SAIRAC in conjunction with a trade exhibition.  The Frigair conference, presented every alternate year, remains a highlight on the SAIRAC calendar.  Frigair attracts internationally renowned speakers and brings the latest in technology and developing trends to the entire industry and affordable fees.
