SAIRAC has a long-standing involvement with various training institutions in providing assistance in compiling the course notes for national technical diplomas in refrigeration and air conditioning.

Beyond this involvement, SAIRAC offers short enrichment courses on specific subjects.  Enrichment courses are usually presented outside normal business hours and are done so by those who have in-depth first-hand knowledge and experience in the subject presented.

•   Psychrometrics and psychrometric processes.
•   Estimation of heat loads and plant selection.
•   Basic electrics for refrigeration and air-conditioning.
•   Fundamentals of refrigeration.
•   Air movement and distribution.
•   Basic ammonia refrigeration.
•   Installation of split A/C units.
